As you make your decision to visit a church the question that typically comes to mind is “What should I Expect?”.  Well allow us to answer that question for you upfront.  Here at White Street you can expect a warm, inviting, friendly, relaxed, and at times funny maybe even comical environment.  Simply put we are a group of imperfect believers being perfected by our Savior and we are here to worship, learn, fellowship, and serve.

 

You will find a diverse group of people of different backgrounds, ages, race, and areas.  Your attire isn’t our concern, so wear a suit and tie, jeans or dress, skirt or polo shirt.  Our desire is that you experience the Love of Christ and come to Faith in Him as your Lord and Savior.  Therefore each member is encouraged to express, engage, and experience.  Lets explain…

 

1. Express – We encourage each of our members to intentionally Express the Love of Christ to each and every individual that we encounter.  Whether it be a smile, wave, hug, handshake, or when appropriate a holy kiss we pray that everyone would take advantage of every opportunity to express the Love of Christ. “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders, make the most of every opportunity” – Colossians 4:5
2. Engage – We encourage each our members to intentionally Engage God and one another in energetic and enthusiastic worship.  God desires our all in worship, we are to love Him and seek His presence daily.  Sundays and Wednesdays are our opportunity to join our brothers and sisters in their daily life of worship.  So as we come together in worship let us remember to be fully engaged with God and man. “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,” – Acts 2:46
3. Experience – We believe that if each person would Express the Love of Christ and Engage God and our fellowman in Worship then we all would Experience the presence of God in the house of God through the people of God.  When this happens we will also operate in the power of God.” But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place…And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” – Acts 1:8; 2:1, 4a
